| NPCSG was
founded in 1977 to bring together physicians sharing an interest in the
study and care of infants and children with heart disorders, in the promotion
and distribution of study data pertaining to these problems, in the evaluation
of socioeconomic and environmental problems associated with such disorders,
and in the stimulation of communications between those engaged in such
efforts. These meetings have always been conducive to discussion, which
often continues during the year through the associations fostered among
its members. The membership has also enjoyed a common interest in winter
sports, and has always convened its meetings at ski resorts. |
